Teachers and students are often worried about the English accent they are learning or teaching; but nowadays there are as many accents as countries in the world. So this is not actually important, the important thing is to develop the competence to communicate in a real context with real people. Sometimes, we try to talk like other people (British or American) because we like to listen how they pronounce; however we must speak our own English without forgetting the grammar and phonetic rules…and what do you think about it?
